The Jordan family strives to serve our community with healthy, fresh produce and food products and with your help will continue for years to come.
Why, What & How We Grow
We cherish our land and community by offering a bounty of Maine’s best throughout the year. With sustainable practices like crop rotation, soil management, interseeding, and cover cropping, we aim to ensure that our fields will provide nutritious food to feed our neighbors for generations to come.
Farm Partners
Growing Maine Agriculture
Ensuring sustainability and local economy through farm partnerships.
Maine’s agricultural economy is the cornerstone of our work. We partner with over 15 Maine farms and distributors to bring the breadth and depth of products that Maine has to offer to our customers, creating additional markets for our partners.
A Farm in Transition
End Hunger
It takes many partners to ensure that all Mainers have access to good, healthy food. One of our core beliefs is to support local and federal hunger programs.
For over 40 years, we have partnered with Good Shepherd Food Bank and local pantries to bring fresh, local produce to our neighbors who may not otherwise have access to these products.
Penny Jordan, one of the owners of the farm, was part of the team that created the strategy for the program Ending Hunger in Maine by 2030, and the Jordan family is heavily involved in local, state, and federal policy as it relates to food access.
A Family Tradition
5 Generations & Counting
A blooming family legacy rooted in the soil of Wells Road since 1948.
Jordan’s Farm, nurtured by generations of our family, continues to flourish and spread its roots into the hearts of those we feed.
